Looking for something to do from 2nd–5th July? There’s loads of free stuff happening across Crossed Wires weekend in Sheffield, and you don’t even need a ticket for a bunch of it. Shows at Sheffield City Hall, the Crucible, Playhouse, Lyceum and Winter Garden DO require paid advance tickets 🎟️ Fringe events at The Montgomery and Cole Brothers are free, but you’ll need to book an advance ticket through our website 🎟️ Everything else, including Centre Stage at Barker’s Pool and Loose Lips at leahsyard are completely free. Just rock up, no ticket needed. Add bundobust & yeekwan_icecream into the mix, and you’ve got a proper festival atmosphere right in the heart of Sheffield.

Conor Rogers’ Betting Slip series is an ongoing body of work in which painings are made directly onto betting slips. Each piece reflects on everyday rituals and the communities and cultural identities connected to betting within contemporary British life.
